Magazine version as "Moth and Rust" in Startling Stories June 1953. The first book publication (revised/expanded from magazine) was as A Woman a Day - GALAXY Novel #43 (1960.) In 1968, Lancer changed the title to The Day of Timestop, and in 1970, just to Timestop!. British paperbacks of the Seventies used the last (shortest) title, and the original book title was revived for an American 1980 paperback (from Berkley.) This novel is in the same "future" as The Lovers (1961) and the story "Rastignac the Devil" - sometimes called the "Sturch" series.
