Book is tight and square with light bumping to top end of spine; scratch across width near bottom of front cover. No stamps, marks or writing. Dustjacket has faint rubbing to front cover and long scratch across width about 2" up from bottom (it carried through to the book); 3/4" square piece gone from top of spine; light to moderate wear to back cover. The missing piece from top of spine and the long scratch are what is keeping the price low on this - it is one of the titles by Dick Francis that is hard to find in hardcover. Since what you would expect to turn up is a very worn ex-library copy, this one is not too bad...
