Tight and square; most wear is to spine, which is mildly dished and has 2 lines, edgewear and some flaking wear which looks like more lines (see spine scan.)

In 1975, this book was split into 2 volumes - the first with this title, the 2nd titled The Dragon. / The first 3 books of this series had great covers by Frank Frazetta or Jeff Jones. It is hard to find a copy with this cover in good shape.
