Ballantine (497K) 1961 (first, and only American) paperback printing. Cover by Richard Powers, 144 pages, 35 cent cover price. Condition is VG+: tight and almost square with flat spine, age tanning is mild and uniform (amazingly - no darkening on insides of covers; light overall wear as faint line next to spine and rubbing or loss of gloss. No stamps, marks or writing - a clean copy.

Bypass to Otherness - a collection of stories by Henry Kuttner. Kuttner is one of the most able and versatile writers of short fiction. In my opinion, these have lasting power and are still readable even after 50 years, unlike much early SF.

Cold War
Call Him Demon
The Dark Angel
The Piper's Son
Absalom
The Little Things
Nothing But Gingerbread Left
Housing Problem

These originally appeared in Startling Stories, Astounding, Thrilling Wonder Stories and Charm - from 1943 to 1949. For all but "The Piper's Son"- this is their first appearance in a Kuttner collection. Many of these also appear in one or more of the various "best of" Kuttner collections, but "The Little Things" can only be found here.
