A Bit of the Dark World
These originally appeared in Fantastic, Weird Tales, Thrilling Mystery Stories, The Saint and Magazine of F&SF - from 1950 to 1962. This marks their first appearance in a Leiber collection. Most of these fall into the "Urban Fantasy" genre that Leiber pioneered. "A Deskful of Girls" was a Hugo-nominee, and is sometimes counted in the "Changewar" series. This 1962 edition from Ballantine is the only edition - making it one of his hardest to find titles. The last 2 stories can be found in The Best of Fritz Leiber; but for the rest you will have to chase down the rare and expensive Midnight House hardcovers.
