Stated "first edition" on credits page, but letters-code at bottom is reduced to "BCDE" - so I'm guessing this is a 2nd printing. Book is very tight and square - probably unread. Unclipped dustjacket is in excellent condition with a 1/4" tear near top left corner of front cover - no other wear of note.

Memoirs of a Space Traveler - a collection of related stories by Stanislaw Lem. Translated (1982) from the Polish by Joel Stern & Maria Swiecicka-Ziemianek from Dzienniki Gwiazdowe (copyright 1971 in Poland.) 8 illustrations by Lem (1/2 page line drawings for the last story.) 4 of these saw English publication in The New Yorker in late 1981. The Star Diaries is also credited to this same source, so I would guess that Dzienniki Gwiazdowe was a large Polish story-collection which had enough for 2 extracts/volumes when translated into English (by different translators…)
