As a SF juvenile, this is about on par with Del Rey or Nourse. The wraparound cover by D'Achille is stunning. The wraparound cover of each of the first 2 books display 2/3 of a 3-panel painting. The third book mirror-reverses Undersea Fleet - putting the final third of the "big picture" on the front.
