A SONG FOR LYA
|ex-ChUSFA: stamp on first inside page, page 85. MORE INFO|
Spine reinforced with 2" non-yellowing library tape. Book is tight and almost square; some 1" finger-creases lon back cover; right side of front cover shows faint haze where another book had been pressed too tight and took away ink from this when separated.
A Song for Lya and Other Stories (1976) - the first story collection by George R. R. Martin. Half of these were not picked up for later retrospectives, and can only be found here or in the source magazines. "Override" is one of my favorite stories by Martin. The first story was a Hugo and Nebula nominee; "A Song for Lya" won the Hugo award in 1975 for "best Novella."
With Morning Comes Mistfall
Original appearances from 1971 to 1974 - (5) in Analog, Vertex, Galaxy, Amazing, Fantastic, Omega.
