Those collections are long out-of-print; this is a good way to sample his short fiction. I am Legend - the story about Richard Neville, last survivor of a plague that swept the world and turned people into white-faced, glassy-eyed sleepwalkers unable to die - is also the basis for 3 movies: THE LAST MAN ON EARTH (1964), and THE OMEGA MAN (1971), and the recent one starring Will Smith: I AM LEGEND (2007.)
