Original story appearances from 1941 to 1958 - in Galaxy, Astounding, Weird Tales, Thrilling Wonder Stories, Unknown, and The Graveyard Reader. The last 3 stories had first been collected in Without Sorcery (Sturgeon's first collection - 1948), but were omitted from its paperback derivative Not Without Sorcery - making their appearance here the first time in 25 years they were generally available.
