Bantam December 1955 paperback (#1400; Rinehart hardcover was 1954, with the title The Science Fiction Sub-Treasury.) Cover by ???, 140 pages, 25 cent cover price. Condition is VG to VG+: tight and almost square; spine is flat with a little edgewear; front cover has a line next to spine, and a 1/2" area at bottom where ink is gone (probably torn off when separated from another book.) Age tanning is mild and uniform - less than average for this vintage. Bottom 1" corner of book (next to spine) shows signs of moisture-exposure: light wear but no waviness, and a very faint stain trace that is detectable on inside (but not very noticeable); bottom page block near spine is discolored to show extent. No stamps or writing.
