Condition is VG+ to near-Fine: tight and square with flat spine; age tanning is mild and uniform (slightly darker on inside covers); 1/8" scrape at upper right corner of front cover; light wear to back cover including bump trace at lower left corner (see scan.) No stamps, marks or writing - a clean copy.

Edgar Rice Burroughs' The Eternal Savage - formerly titled The Eternal Lover." This has a rather nice cover by Roy G. Krenkel, and this reprint is probably the first full-size paperback printing from Ace (4-1/8" by 7" compared to the first printing size of 4-1/8" by 6-3/8".)

Not only does this tie-in with the "Tarzan" series (Victoria and her brother are visiting Tarzan in Part One) - but her brother Barney Custer is the protagonist of The Mad King.
